ST. GEORGE- Two drivers were cited after a collision at 383 South Mall Drive shortly before noon Thursday.
The collision involved a white Hyundai Sonata and a silver Dodge Grand Caravan, both heading south on Mall Drive. The Grand Caravan came to a stop in the traffic lane to make a left turn when it was rammed by the Sonata, St. George Police Constable Tiffany Mitchell said.
Both drivers received citations, Mitchell said. The Sonata driver was cited for following too closely and the Grand Caravan driver was cited for making an improper left turn.
There were two occupants in the Grand Caravan and one in the Sonata; all occupants would have worn their seat belts.
Minor injuries were reported, but none of the occupants were taken to hospital. Mitchell said one or more occupants of either vehicle may have taken themselves to the hospital for evaluation.
The St. George Fire Department and Gold Cross also responded to the scene.
This report is based on information provided by law enforcement and may not contain the full conclusions.
