The driver of a Smart car involved in a collision with four cars has died

KC Police say a Kansas City, Missouri man died nearly a month after sustaining fatal injuries in a four-vehicle crash. The man, identified as Geroge Raymond, 32, was the driver of a Smart car that was involved in an April 5 collision near East 43rd Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard.Police said just before 18 hours on the evening of the accident, Raymond’s silver Smart car was traveling east on 43rd Street when the driver turned left, not yielding to other vehicles. Raymond was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. Police said he was pronounced dead late Saturday night from injuries related to the crash. Two other drivers involved in the wreckage said they would seek medical treatment. One complained of chest pains and another said he feared internal injuries. Police also said the fourth driver involved in the crash reported no injuries at the scene.
