A man has died following a single-vehicle collision in Milton

On Sunday August 21, 2022, Halton Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision outside 13221 Guelph Line in Milton.

According to police, at approximately 11:10 a.m., a white SUV was traveling south on the Guelph line when it left the roadway and collided with an elevated culvert.

According to police, a lone male occupant was assessed by EMS and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Due to the nature of the investigation, the Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and took over.

According to police, the scene was held for approximately six hours for the on-site collision investigation and subsequent cleanup of debris.

No further details will be released as police are still trying to notify relatives.
