Biloxi, MS – Victims injured in vehicle collision on I-10 at MM 53

Biloxi, MS (May 28, 2022) – Troopers from the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a car accident resulting in injuries Saturday, May 28 in Jackson County.

Sources say the crash happened around 3:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in the mile post 53 area in Biloxi when, for reasons still under investigation, two or more vehicles collided.

First responders were also dispatched to the area where they treated some of the lightly injured victims at the scene and transported at least one by ambulance to a local medical facility for further medical treatment.

The identity and current medical conditions of those involved were not immediately made available.

This accident is still under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
