BLOOMFIELD, NJ–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The newly renovated Brookdale ShopRite today held a groundbreaking ceremony for the launch of an EVgo Inc. fast-charging electric vehicle (EVgo) station (NASDAQ: EVGO) (EVgo) in its parking lot at 1409 Broad Street in Bloomfield, New Jersey.

This EVgo charging station offers a charge of 100 kW to 350 kW and can serve four vehicles simultaneously. The station was funded through the PSE&G Electric Vehicle Charging Program, which is designed to support the deployment of EV chargers for a range of customers. This latest launch is part of a campaign to install and offer charging stations in the communities where ShopRite stores operate.
