Fatal collision between pedestrians | Hatfield Township Police Department

On October 27, 2022 at approximately 3:13 p.m., the Hatfield Township Police Department responded to the area of ​​Oak Park Road and Koffel Road in Hatfield Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for an emergency report medical.

The scene investigation revealed that an 83-year-old man was lying in the area, unresponsive. Members of the Volunteer Medical Service Corps (VMSC) and the Hatfield Township Police Department provided medical aid to the man, who was later transported to Lansdale Hospital by the VMSC. The man was later pronounced dead and further investigation determined he had been struck by a motor vehicle.

The Hatfield Township Police Department is asking anyone with doorbell cameras or any type of camera on Oak Park Road or in the Koffel Road and Oak Park Road area to contact the Hatfield Township Police Department for assistance in this survey. The Hatfield Township Police Department is also asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact the Hatfield Township Police Department.

The Hatfield Township Police Department is not releasing the victim’s name or any additional information at this time.
