Man dies after being trapped under vehicle in Toronto collision: police – Toronto
Police say a man has died after becoming trapped under a car following a two-vehicle collision in Toronto.
In a series of tweets, Toronto police said the collision happened just after 3:10 p.m. in the Avenue of the guardians and Comstock Road Region.
Police say two vehicles collided at the intersection and one was pushed off the road.

According to the police, a pedestrian was struck and ended up getting stuck under a car.
Officers said the victim was freed “with the help of a tow truck driver” and taken to hospital via emergency rush.
Police said he succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
“This is now a fatal traffic investigation,” police said in a tweet.
